Sibyl K. Simon, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist with additional certifications in addiction psychiatry and sleep medicine. She is a dedicated community psychiatrist with significant experience in both public and private inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as an accomplished psychiatric administrator who actively treats patients with severe mental illness and dual diagnoses. Dr. Simon offers consultations on various administrative psychiatry topics, including quality improvement, treatment planning, and physician management. Her clinical expertise includes recovery-oriented treatment for individuals with serious mental health issues, training clinicians in the necessary attitudes, values, and skills, and fostering collaboration among families, consumers, and providers. Education is a key passion for Dr. Simon. She has delivered presentations to diverse audiences, including psychiatrists, psychologists, trainees, and educators, on subjects such as post-concussion mental health, the intersection of sports and psychiatry, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychopharmacology, youth violence, and private practice. Residing in South Florida, she looks forward to sharing the knowledge and expertise gained from local experts.
